The IPU is the global organization of national parliaments. It’s mission is to promote democratic governance, institutions and values, for peace, for. democracy and for everyone.

Campaign for Gender Equality and Women’s Rights
The IPU requested a Campaign for this complex multi-faceted topic. The following are four different edges from where a campaign about this could start a conversation. Four conceptual starting points reflecting different perspectives, but one single message.
Proposal 1
For Democracy. For Everyone. For Equality.
The official slogan of the IPU is For Democracy. For everyone. It defines in a very clear and concise manner the core values and purpose of the organisation.
This proposal plays off the idea of using this solid base as a launching platform and adding a twist, with the addition of one more element to the adamant set of golden values.

Proposal 2
The Shame Campaign
It’s been several year since the advocation for equal women’s rights has been a recurring theme. By now, it would be fair to assume this issue should already be settled. By now, starting the year 2025, it should no longer be a topic of debate
However, the fact that we are still talking about it reveals it is. There are still equality standard to be achieved and goals to be met. Equality among genres and ethnic backgrounds should be normality, but still it isn’t. And this is, indeed, a shame.

Proposal 3
Still Not Settling
Straightforward and immediately understandable composition, featuring women from different ethnical origins, amidst a stream of opposite walking grey people: not seeing, not taking part, not compromising.
The composition is self-explanatory and immediately understandable, assets that function as the main strengths of the proposal.

Proposal 4
Equality = Diversity
A simple concept, with a subtle pun and with a wide spectrum of illustrative possibilities.

As a way of shouting the message out, the color scheme featured vibrant and lightful colors to make the image stand out.
